At Stephanie Dellinger Voice Studio, I provide personalized voice lessons in Santa Clarita for children, teens, and adults throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. Every lesson is tailored to the individual, combining healthy vocal technique, musicianship, artistry, and practical performance skills to help each student reach their goals.
Real-World Experience in the Performing Arts
My journey as a voice teacher and vocal coach has been shaped by decades of experience in performance, education, and the performing arts industry.

I earned both my Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Vocal Performance, graduating with distinction from California State University, Northridge. My graduate research focused on children's vocal health, a subject that continues to influence the way I teach singers today.
​
Over the past twenty years, I've taught private voice lessons, served as Adjunct Voice Faculty at The Master's College, directed choirs, developed vocal curriculum, adjudicated scholarship competitions, and coached singers preparing for performances, college auditions, and musical theatre productions.
Many parents enter the performing arts world with little or no industry experience. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping families better understand that journey.

My Approach to Voice Lessons
I don't simply teach songs—I teach singers.
Whether your goal is to perform on stage, prepare for college, strengthen your vocal technique, or simply enjoy singing with greater confidence, every lesson is designed around your individual needs and aspirations.
I believe great singers are built through healthy technique, strong musicianship, artistic expression, and consistent, thoughtful practice. Those principles remain the same whether you're preparing for your first recital or your next professional audition.
One of the things that sets my Santa Clarita voice studio apart is the breadth of experience I bring to each lesson.

In addition to my work as a performer and educator, I worked as a musical theatre talent agent, helping young performers navigate auditions, representation, and professional opportunities.
​
Today, I continue to experience the entertainment industry as the parent and manager of a professional child actor whose career has included two Tony Award-winning Broadway productions, television, regional theatre, and commercial work.
​
That perspective allows me to coach not only vocal technique and performance, but also the practical realities of auditions, callbacks, rehearsals, professional expectations, and long-term artistic growth.

I also offer beginning piano lessons for younger students and beginners, as well as career coaching for aspiring performers and mentoring for parents navigating the entertainment industry.

Absolutely—but success means something different for every student.
Some students have gone on to perform professionally, receive scholarships, earn acceptance into competitive college programs, and book leading roles in theatre productions. Others simply want to sing with greater confidence, prepare for an audition, lead worship, or finally understand how their voice works.

What matters most to me isn't comparing students to one another—it's helping each individual reach their goals.
​
Over the years, I've had the privilege of watching students overcome vocal challenges they once thought impossible, discover confidence they didn't know they had, and achieve milestones that once felt out of reach. Whether a student dreams of Broadway or simply wants to enjoy singing with freedom and confidence, I consider it a privilege to be part of that journey.
Teaching voice is only one part of my professional background.
In addition to more than twenty years of experience as a performer and educator, I've served as a college voice instructor, musical theatre adjudicator, and former talent agent specializing in young performers.

I also manage my son's professional theatre, television, and commercial career, including two Tony Award-winning Broadway productions.

These experiences allow me to guide students not only as singers, but also as performers navigating auditions, training opportunities, and the entertainment industry.
Not often, though it can vary throughout the year.
Because my children are active performers, there are seasons when we may have multiple auditions in a single week, followed by months without needing to reschedule a single lesson. In fact, some of my students have never had to adjust their lesson time due to our schedule.

To provide the greatest consistency, I encourage students to schedule lessons in the morning or early afternoon whenever possible. These time slots are less likely to conflict with auditions and performances, which is one of the reasons I offer a discounted rate before 1:00 PM.
​
If a scheduling conflict does arise, I do my best to provide plenty of notice and arrange a convenient makeup lesson whenever possible.

I believe there is tremendous value in studying with a teacher who is actively involved in today's performing arts industry. The relationships I build, the current industry knowledge I gain, and the real-world experience I bring back to my students are all part of the education they receive.
